🙋🏻‍♀️ Hey there! I'm Dani!

Just a bit of my background story. Hailing all the way from Brazil, my life journey has taken me across continents, unlocking my passions and igniting my inner entrepreneur.

So… I started off as an English teacher in Brazil, in 1997. Fast forward to 2008, I married a Welsh man and we made a bold move to Naples, Italy, where I got a teaching job. Little did I know, this city would be the spark that reignited my passion for writing! Immersed in the vibrant culture of the chaotic city and its surroundings, I penned her first novel, the deliciously titled “Loveandpizza.it.” Excited by my newfound creativity, I returned to the UK and decided to take my writing journey even further by pursuing a master’s degree in Creative Writing.

When I returned to the UK, I thought I was done with teaching for good. But guess what? Life had other plans! I found myself back in the teaching game, this time sharing my passion for Shakespeare’s language with students from all over the world. Surprisingly, I discovered that my true love wasn’t necessarily teaching English, but teaching itself.

As time went on, teaching started to wear me out. So, I ventured into the administrative side of education. It wasn’t the most inspiring gig, but hey, it paid the bills and allowed me to switch off once the workday was over. But then, the entrepreneurial bug bit me hard! I crossed paths with a group of inspiring women entrepreneurs, and that was the catalyst for my own business ventures.

Cue the birth of “The Writing Shed” – my first blog, a place where I spilled my experience with writing for wellbeing. It was specifically geared towards women who needed a boost in self-esteem and self-confidence. I even had a proper writing shed in the back of my house!

Building on that, I also created “This Chick Writes,” a course tailor-made for women dreaming of writing their own chick lit novels. It was awesome, but with more changes that came, that is also being restructured. I’ll tell you more soon.

But my appetite for knowing myself better didn’t stop there. I decided to take a course called “Springboard,” designed to help women take charge, boost their confidence, and develop a more positive mindset in all areas of life. Talk about transformation! Inspired by this incredible journey, I couldn’t help but envision a global movement. And so, “The Mighty Women” was born, an online magazine empowering women all over the world.

My passion for writing, coupled with my desire to help others, led me to create workshops focused on writing for wellbeing, self-awareness, and self-confidence. I’m all about helping women who feel inadequate, unhappy, or uncertain about their future finding their inner strength. I was like this once. With my e-books, workbooks, and courses, I guide women in expressing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through writing, fostering a stronger relationship with themselves.

And here’s the latest scoop!

During the pandemic, I trained as a certified Rapid Transformational Therapy practitioner. Feeling the urge to combine my passions and make an even bigger impact, I’ve started a new community, the Blossom Club of Expressive Writing. This exciting venture will focus on writing for wellbeing, self-awareness, and empowerment for women. Get ready for an amazing journey of self-discovery and personal growth!

So there you have it, a bit about my story of resilience, self-discovery, and relentless determination. It’s been hard work getting here. But I’m so grateful that I have been able to touch the lives of so many women, giving them the tools and support they need to unlock their true potential.
